TÜV Austria carries out certification of the safety and quality of products, services and management systems; it has been promoting and supporting technological innovation with special attention to people and nature for almost 140 years. TÜV Austria is an independent certification and inspection body.

For its performances in the areas of quality and service management Aquapol has received the certification for the management system per EN ISO 9001 and for a TÜV tested process for the confirmation of the moisture content per ÖNORM B3355-1, which is essential for the wall dehydration.

Aquapol is very proud having received the certification for properly determining the moisture content of masonry according to Austrian ÖNORM B3355-1 by means of standardized measurements and analysis of the results of control and follow-up measurements, which assure the customers that Aquapol meets fully all these necessary requirements.

“Especially these measurements are the only control for customers to see in what condition the masonry of their property is and whether the drying out was successful in the end,” AQUAPOL-owner Wilhelm Mohorn commented on the certification.

“Our customers can therefore be absolutely assured that Aquapol is following a TÜV-certified management according to ISO 9001, from the masonry diagnostics to the commissioning of the dehydration system, as well as performing TÜV Austria approved measurements on masonry,” Mohorn added.

Such certifications play an important role, since certificates represent the value of a company’s promises. Any company may claim to be innovative and operate a high-quality management. That is why it is important that an independent, neutral investigator, checks this thoroughly and confirms it if applicable.

Aquapol recently celebrated its 25th anniversary. In 13 European countries, for example in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and Italy more than 46,000 AQUAPOL systems have been installed by now. In addition to that European market presence Aquapol is in touch with partners in the US, China, and most recently in South Africa.

Aquapol has an impressive number of references in the private and public sector such as Castle Ulmerfeld, Rogner’s Fuchs Palace, the Brehmhaus Renthendorf, Castle Wolfsberg, the Automobile Museum in Stockerau, and the vinothek of the Monastery Klosterneuburg.
